The MTV VMAs is one of the biggest ones each year; this year is no exception with live performances by the Jonas Brothers and for some reason Lil Wayne. MTV has released the determined nominees in these four (4) categories of awards for the 2008 Video Music Awards.

The Ordinary Joe Blog intends to stay on top of the entire showdown, taking place at 9pm ET on September 7th, 2008. MTV is allowing the fans to choose the nominees for each category. However the selection of winners is left up to MTV itself.
