Guess What?!

The Ordinary Joe Blog has an awesome announcement for all of our faithful readers (assuming that we have any).

Like we said a few weeks ago, we the Ordinary Joes will be covering major music award shows. The 25th Video Music Awards hosted by MTV will take place this coming Sunday the 7th of September at 9pm ET sharp. Live in Hollywood. And we are excited to say that we will be blogging LIVE during the show. From the red carpet to the Video of the Year, we’ll be weighing in. That’s the good; the great; the bad; the worst; the ugly and the very ugly, the whole shebang through our eyes.

The show will be hosted by Russell Brand, the winner of GQ Magazine’s Most Stylish Man of 2006 and the winner of GQ’s Least Stylish Man of 2007 & 2008. However, he’s a great comedian and entertainer; hopefully he keeps the crowd hype.

The Presenters will be:
Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Scarlett Johansson, Lindsay Lohan, Michael Phelps, Slash, Britney Spears, Cast of Twilight, Drake Bell and Josh Peck, the Cast of High School Musical 3, Christopher Mintz-Plassen (a.k.a. Mclovin from the movie Superbad), Shia Labeouf, Ashlee Simpson, Cast of the Hills and Paris Hilton.

Performers will be:
T-pain, T.I., Katy Perry, Pink, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Kid Rock, Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, The Ting Tings, Travis Barker, DJ Jam, Paramore, Kanye West and Christina Aguilera.
