Britney Spears - Womanizer - World Tour - Britney Spears

Britney Spears’ new single “Womanizer” from her upcoming album “Circus” was released on radio last week. The song has an edgy electric sound, and is sure to get play in dance clubs. I call it more of an Ashlee Simpson sound than the usual Britney; however she does a good job on the track. The song was played during last night’s episode of The Hills on MTV.

“Boy don't try to front I (I) know just (just) what you are (are are)/ Womanizer/ Woman-Womanizer/ You're a womanizer”

The album’s release is set for December 2nd, 2008 which is the same date as Spears’ birthday.

It was on New York’s Z100 radio station that the singer announced her plans to go on a world tour in 2009. Britney claimed to have been stunned when she won three VMA moonmen for her video “Piece of Me”. She said “It's a cool video, but I think by far I've done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that it got the award.”

I agree with her, “Piece of Me” was probably one of the worst videos Britney has done, but her fans thought she was deserving of the awards, which inspired her. The video clip for “Womanizer” is currently under production. According to MTV, in the video, “Britney sports a vampy look, clad in a short black wig and red lipstick, and playing a waitress”. Hopefully it will be on par with the likes of “Slave 4 U” and “Toxic”.
