Lupe Fiasco

Lupe Fiasco, after a year of suggesting his retirement was looming, announced that his upcoming album will be titled “LupEND”. Fiasco made the announcement during a show in Chicago, stating that “END” stands for “everywhere”, “nowhere” and “down here”. The release date has not been set, and Atlantic Records is declining comments on rumors that the rapper will retire after releasing the Triple Disc Album.

Last year, Fiasco told Billboard News that his last album would be titled “LupEND”, based on a concept in video games. “When you play a videogame, you can only put in three letters for your name and when the game's over, those three letters and 'END' pop up. My next record might be my last one,” he said.

Over his critically acclaimed career that began in 2006 with the release of his first album, “Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor”, he has drawn in a firm fan base (members of which are of begging for him not to leave the rap game). He performed “Superstar”, from his sophomore album “The Cool” at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

All in all though, he has accomplished much over his short career, and will once again exhibit his talent on this upcoming smash album that the Ordinary Joe Blog looks forward to reviewing.
