Teriyaki Boyz

International Japanese Hip Hop artists the Teriyaki Boyz are releasing a new album entitled “Serious Japanese” on January 28th in Japan, via Star Trak Entertainment. International release will follow on February 3rd. The album is a follow up to their 2006 set “Beef or Chicken?” and a double appearance on the soundtrack of the movie “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”. Remember, “I wonder if you know/ How they live in Toky-o”?

The album’s third single, “Work That!” features Neptunes member Pharell Williams, whom is also a co-founder of Star Trak, and R&B artist Chris Brown. It was released on January 14, 2009. The video features group members clothe in the garb they’ve come to be known for, while dropping rhymes in a mixture of English and Japanese. It features a live background of the butts of lots of skinny Japanese girls.
