Michael Jackson Statue

Michael’s mother, Katherine and the rest of the Jackson family have tussled over where the final resting place of their relative, King of Pop Michael Jackson should be, and have finally come to solution. Michael Jackson died from June 25th and the city of California has already hosted one of the largest memorials ever for a celebrity in his honor.

However, the family was faced with indecision over whether the pop star should be laid to rest at a security-strict property or in a tourist attraction style property. The latter was supposed to be hosted at the Never Land Ranch, opposing the fact that, since investigators had raided the ranch a few years ago, Michael had wished to never return to it. A major supporter of this plan though was Jermaine Jackson.

They have chosen to bury Michael at Forest Lawn Cemetery, the same place the private (family only) memorial was hosted before the major one on July 7th . Jackson is being buried on what would have been his 51st birthday, August 29th, 2009. He will be buried in the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn, sharing space with names like Clark Gable and Nat King Cole.
