One of the Ordinary Joes here, talking about the biggest jump in Billboard Hot 100 history, a jump from 71 to 1. This leap was made by “Whatever You Like” in its third week on the list. The song is by Rapper T.I. and marks the artist’s first chart-topping hit. While in Detroit completing part of the community service requirement of his 2007 federal weapons conviction, T.I. told Billboard.com he is “ecstatic” and “overjoyed” by the records accomplishment, also that he hopes it means people like the song. “I think it's a new sound for me, something people aren't necessarily used to hearing. It's one of those risky records. It just happened to work in our favor.” “Whatever You Like” is the First single off his upcoming album “Paper Trail” from Grand Hustle/ Atlantic Records, set for release on September 30, 2008. After two #1 Billboard Hot 200 albums, “King” and “T.I. vs. T.I.P.” it seems T.I is well on his way to another Hip Hop smash hit. The artist is also making other big moves in that he will being work on a new film entitled “Bone Deep” co-starring Chris Brown and Matt Dillon, and a promotional tour for his album albeit he has to serve a looming 1 year stint in prison as part of his conviction. atlantic • billboard hot 100 • bone deep • chris brown • community service • conviction • jail • king • matt dillon • music blog • ordinary joe • paper trail • prison • rap • t.i. • t.i. vs. t.i.p. • weapons • whatever you like atlantic • billboard hot 100 • bone deep • chris brown • community service • conviction • jail • king • matt dillon • music blog • ordinary joe • paper trail • prison • rap • t.i. • t.i. vs. t.i.p. • weapons • whatever you like
